We hosted 3 men from the Kamloops and Area Men's Shed at our Christmas lunch: Gerry Hennings, Brad Rayner and Bill.Wiebe. They are in the process of starting a men's shed in Kamloops, and Men's Shed Vernon has paired with them as "shed buddies" to offer help and mentoring. Whenever we get to tell our story to visitors, I am reminded of how far we have come and what we have achieved together. With close to 40 guys attending today, the heart of our shed was on display for our guests: guys enjoying the company of one another along with food, laughter, and stories. What we do is well worth it. We wish the new shed all the best as they forge ahead on their exciting journey.
